Houseplant Care Tips

Hello Chat!

Thank you for being here, and thank you for supporting our small business.

Our plants are grown and acclimated to ambient indoor environments. We don’t use humidifiers, heaters, or AC.

Humidity: 50% – 60%

Temperature: 60°F – 85°F (Natural fluctuations)

We’ll share our basic care tips for numerous plants that we care for below:

Specific Care Guides

Monstera

  • Light: Bright, indirect light.
  • Water: Water when the soil is dry. They are hardy but prone to root rot if kept soggy.
  • Vibe: Very forgiving; provide regular fertilizer and good air flow.

Philodendron

  • Light: Bright, indirect light.
  • Water: Water when dry. Please avoid over-watering!
  • Vibe: Fast growers and perfect for beginners. Very hardy.

Alocasia

  • Light: Bright, indirect light.
  • Water: Let the top inch dry, but be careful—they are sensitive to “wet feet.”
  • Vibe: Heavy feeders! They thrive on routine fertilization and a bit of “calculated neglect.”

Musa (Banana)

  • Light: Bright, indirect light.
  • Water: Keep consistently moist; do not let the soil dry out completely.
  • Vibe: Fast growers and easy rooters. Repot once they become root-bound.

Anthurium

  • Light: Bright, indirect light.
  • Water: Keep substrate moist but never waterlogged.
  • Vibe: These crave air flow. Use a chunky aroid mix for best results.

Thrives best in a high-humidity area. Slow grower and can be prone to stem rot.
